Become a Host Family…
Host families care for children in their home while also ministering to the parents. Prompted solely by compassion, each Host family is screened, trained, and approved to serve without compensation. In many cases, the Host Family develops a relationship with the family that continues after the children return home and often becomes part of the family’s network of support.

Resource Support Volunteer…
Resource Support Volunteers provide our staff, volunteers, and clients with support that is unique to your abilities! If you enjoy knitting blankets for our client’s babies, have a truck that you can use to move furniture, have a love for cooking for families in need, get fulfillment from community engagement…the list goes on…, then this is perfect for you!

Family Friends…
Family Friends help support parents and host families in a variety of non-hosting ways, including relationship building, life sharing, transportation, making meals, and spiritual assistance.
Please consider supporting families in crisis in friendship and helping provide basic, practical needs on their journey to reunification.
Church Coordinator…
The Church Coordinator is the liaison between the staff team and their church leadership. They focus on building up and strengthening the ministry at their church through volunteer recruitment, putting supports in place for volunteers serving as part of their church ministry, and being a source of encouragement, resource development, and debriefing for volunteers.

Other ways to volunteer and support Family Renewal Initiative
At FRI, we believe that there is a role for everyone. We also depend on local churches, uniting around the Biblical mandates to care and provide for those in need, particularly the widow and orphan (James 1:27, Matthew 25:35-36, 25:40).
